Here are some pics of my albino moray and was wondering if anyone could say for sure if it is what I think to be an Echidna rhodilocus? I know these are not the best quality pictures but I have a cheap camera and it is hard to catch the little guy out without scaring him back into hiding.

Thanx

need a better pic, could b a snowflake ...how much did that guy cost ..he's very cool

R u sure hes even albino? If im looking at the pic right it seems to have black eyes number 1 and number 2 there are white species of morey. Cant remeber the name though.

Possibly a pale Tile? I had one that was really pale almost albino looking but did NOT have red eyes.

Can you see any kind of pattern on it? Is it's stomach lighter than the rest of it?

I will try and get my sister in-law's camera and catch him out with a close up. His eyes look black but upon close inspection it is deep red. Aspecies of tile was mentioned but I believe they have fins running along their bodies on top and bottom. Mine is like a snake till it gets back to the tail. I am thinking of adding a Gymnothorax as atank mate. I have a toadfish and red scat in with him now.

Yeah it head just looks funny for a moray. It might just be that its a small eel and a funny angle on the not so good pic but its head looks alot more snake like and the paddle tail sounds more like you have a sea snake then an eel. Im guessing its just a bad pic though as im sure you would have noticed the different behavior of them and ive never seen them for sale so will have to wait for a better pic.

Yeah, that head on that doesn't really look like a moray. Can you get a better picture where the eel isn't so blurry?
