Can anyone ID this spider?

My brother installs cable and said this thing attacked him at work.

Can anyone ID it?

Did it actually break skin? It is VERy, VERY rare for a trapdoor to attack anything.

It's dead because he's a cable technicians, not Steve Irwin haha j/k

I guess it was in a cable junction box, and I'm guessing since it's a trap door spider, when the opened the lid, the vibration made the spider 'pop' out of it's home? They probably saw that as the spider 'attacking' and killed it.

I dont go looking for them, but I do rescue them when theyre in my house. I have a great, almost-never-fail tecnique.

Insy Winsy Spider! I would show a spider my shoe size, too, if I see any of them. I don't waste any second to figure out what kind of damage it will cause.
