Can anyone identify this fish

common names vary all around the world depending on who your talking to, scientific is most accurate (more so for this cichlid aswell).
larger growing vieja 12"+, what kind of info are you looking for?
agressiveness, compatable tankmates, and such?
pretty much the same for any large sized, medium agression cichlid.
if you plan on mixing with tankamtes i wouldn't do it in under 125, i guess i'd treat em the same as oscars.
sex like other cichlids, not sure if there's dimorphic/chromatic differences nor not.
cost seems to be high around me as availibility is low.
i'd say like $30ish for a 4-5''er
params like any CA/SA cichlid

not a sexing expert on vieja, but somebody can help you with that surely.
cost depends on where your shopping and what size the fish is. i'd expect $10-20 for 3-4" guys.
