Picking up an Aimara in a few days and this is the look I'm shooting for. Can anyone ID this substrate brand/color and possibly somewhere I can get it. Sorry for the crappy screen shot.

Thanks for the quick reply, do you know if it's a heavy or light weight sand? Don't want anything that creates a sandstorm anytime the fish swim by?

Mine seems heavier than silica sand to me. It is used as a sandblasting media and comes from several different sources which can greatly effect the color/look. My first order from Zoro.com was their largest grain size and it looked like this:

After some research, I ordered a smaller grain size and got this, which was the look for which I was hoping:

Others have it mainly for their bichirs. Shouldn’t create any sandstorms. Proper lighting and the garnet should get the look desired.
