As the title says, can anyone help me identify this starfish. thanks

Thank you. we were told a different name at our LFS, but couldnt remember the name. Then again ,we were also told that it was reef safe and only ate algae..
From what I read, that is true till it gets bigger. The one we are looking at is about 3" tip to tip (or round/across) so not sure how fast they grow and even if I really want to deal with it if at some time its going to be a problem with some coral.
 
only thing is, when you type in Red Knob Star, it comes up with a totally different looking star fish.

P.S. If you ever have a problem ID, look at that species in liveaquaria.com Thats how I found it, but make sure to type it in on the searchbox, it gives you more results. Like for this, I typed in starfish, and looked at everything they had. Hope this helps,

Thanks for the info. So far, he is doing good. was all ofer the tank, but the last few days he is staying up in the corner. But seems to be doing good.
