my sister called me and said my catfish has a infection its a feather fin catfish.

if it spreading how can i go about stopping it. The last time i checked my water which was last week(sunday) was ammonia was at .5 i think and i told my sister to cut back feeding and do a another water change int he middle of the week. everything else is fine
