hi
i did a 20% water change for 5 days straight!and my tank still looks redish/orange

i know its not the water because i replace it and the water looks clear,so i think its the tank.
has this ever happen to someone?

what can i do????

Did you recently put any new driftwood in? If you did it is the tannins from the wood.

nope no tannis i did however put a cocanut in there once?
how do you get rid of it!!!!!!

change the filter cartridges? as sometimes they can hold onto dyes that will change the color of ur water once more when the water cycles through it. Happened to me when i put in ich treatment before.

okay....i was thinking what if i do a 75%water change would that help!!!!!!!

Carbon will remove stains from water, as well as a polyfilter pad

Carbon will help, and cleaning your filter pads will help. Don't touch the bio media though.

yeah a good rinse out or change out of filter pads and some carbon help good.
