Can anyone tell the sex of my jewel cichlid

It’s about 3 1/2 inches long right now so I think it’s at a good size to sex at. Any advice would be great.

Judging form the lack of jewel spots, lighter gill spot and thicker rounder looking abdomen I guess female.

Thanks that’s what I was thinking as well but did not want to get two males on accident. Thanks for the second opinion
