Can arowana stay with gars?

I used to buy fishes like oscar flower horn and small parrots after few years i bought a gar and it died it had a broken back from the moment i bought it but i was just a kid after they died my interest in fishes went away but after 2 years now i saw two gars around 9 inch and it was love at first sight i bought them but they are kind of in active and i like fishes like oscar and arowana so i thought id buy silver arowana but i dont know if they will be compatible please help me

They are compatible but gotta make sure sizing is right arowanas will grow fast. Tank has to be big as well.

I agree with what kno4te stated also like to add Florida Gar's are more manageable than Alligator Gar's.

Thats because you overfilter.

Oh i also over filter actually every day about 70% of the water
