Can Blood Parrots Breed?

I've wondered this too. I would think some would unless they were all "artificially inseminated". I don't know the fish term, but you get my drift.
 
yeah I guy came to the store I work at and said his laid eggs but nothing has hatched.
 
female bp's can lay eggs(the eggs need to be fertilized externally after they are released) but *most* male bp's are sterile and can't fertilize the eggs

99.9 male bp are sterile but u can breed a female bp with another s/ca cichlid male
 
My female lays eggs all the time, but nothing ever happens. It is not just male BP's that are infertile but generally most hybrid male animals are too eg mules
 
sometimes the males in breeding facilities are injected with horomones to make them fertile, but in general they are infertile, try breeding with another male ....FH?
