I have a red morph female and blue male. They've been together for a few weeks, no fry yet. Is it possible to breed a blue male and red female? Would the fry be blue because the red gene is recessive?
Can blue and red dovii produce fry?

They should be able to breed without problems, they are both the same species. I’d imagine the majority will be blue, but there should be a few red in the mix as well as possibly some bicolor ones.
That is a beautiful pair and I have never seen a female that red. Male is gorgeous too.
You should get blue ones and probably some that will fade with time, possibly not until they are quite large.
