Hello guys hope all doing well
I want to ask can bricks be used in aquarium under sand as height
Means placed and sand to be poured over it so it sand totally covers it

(And the update for my last thread is here
2 days ago all ich disappeared from my fish disappeared and all are fine I'm continuing the medication as if any are left in sand I will continue for more two days total 4 days extra medication)

The bricks would reduce the overall water volume of the tank. Detritus waste would eventually get in between the bricks. Why do you need the sand bed higher?

Chemically, red clay bricks would be fine (no change in water parameters).
Other types of bricks (white, gray or those made from cement as cinder blocks), harder to say. Some (not all) will affect parameters.

( eet me kachra bhara rahta , paan puria ka packet bhi nikal jaata hai kabhi kabhi)
don't use bricks in the tank it has dirt trapped in and will alter water parameters , use some large river rocks instead and put a thermocol sheet under the large rocks to protect the glass cause you wont find egg crate that easily in India

I would go for 7 days but that is just my opinion better safe than sorry I would also use salt after for a week or more after the meds. I am still fighting ich. I thought I got rid of it saw nothing on any fish for months some were flashing but that is it( flashing dose not mean they have ich) added no new fish then one day I had a few fish covered in white spots. I have been treating for 3 weeks now. I want it gone!

I have used thin, elongated stones, or long sunken branches to set as a barrier, and piled substrate behind them, to get a terraced effect. I then planted that area heavier than the front.
The plant roots help to keep the substrate from sliding forward. But.....
with some fish the plants need an uninterrupted period of time to establish before certain digging type fish species are added.
With my latest tank, I planted and filtered it about a month before adding fish to allow the plants to get a foot hold.
