can cloudy water hurt the fish??

just picked up a new jar today and i put him into my 30 Long growout... hes about 3 inches, and for some reason after doing a water change before putting him in there the water started to get cloudy.. i just put some crystal clear solution in to help with the cloudiness, and but a new filter cartridge.. is there anything elses i should do??...

depends what the water parems are,

doesnt really matter if water is cooudy or not as long as water quality is good

right on bsixxx... i had it cycling for a while, and as for the water parameters, i couldnt tell you.. dont got a test kit right now but, if it doesnet clear up im gonna pick one up.. but i think it should clear up.. thanks bro.

you can put in some new activated carbon... and I agree with bsixx... just check the water params... if their fine you should be ok...

Not really but it makes it harder for them to breath,and it is not healthy

Most probably bacteria boom. Adding active carbon can help in this situation and stop doing water change for now till it clear up by itself

Just leave everything as it is right now and wait for the bacteria to work themselves out.

as long as no ammonia/nitrite , there should be ni problem
