Well my jar atm is 5-6in but is very shy and gets scared very easly, with the filp of the light switch and it goes into hiding.

the pale ones are senegal and the black one is an ornate

Use your own judgement. Is your Jag aggressive? If so, Are the bichirs large enough to feud themselves if the jag decides to attack? Does it have any bad experience with other tank mates before? Is your tank large enough to house them without cramping them all together? The same questions apply to the bichirs.

These are some question you should ask before deciding if they are compatible tankmates. If you decided to house them together, be sure to observe carefully once you place them together. Look out for any sights of distress from either parties. Afterwards, check frequently for fights and damaged fins (depending on how free are you, I would do 30min - 1 hour). If they make it through the first day without fighting, 80% chance they wont engage in a death match as long as you keep them well fed :) .

Word of wisdom: Do not place your bichirs in immediately after feeding the Jag, it might think they are food.

Good luck

Well the thing is, is that my jar atm is hard to feed. Some days hell eat meal worms and then wont want to eat till like 3-4days later.
