missioneira and minuano - albeit slightly different ones - are also found in the Rio Yi, further south. Would missioneira from Cureim breed with missioneira from Yi? Who knows but it's much better to keep them with fish from the same collection location.

There are different collection locations for fish that we call the same species (e.g. "missioneira" from both Yi and Cureim). They're slightly different fish. Are they actually the same species or different species? It probably depends as much on who's classifying them as the fish themselves. Would fish from Yi breed from fish from Cureim? Who knows...
