Can crickets be bred outside?

I want to breed crickets for my killifish, can they be raised outside, it’s summertime so it’s 70-90 degree and it dips to around 60 degrees at night, I plan to keep them in a shaded area in front of our house, would this work because my parents don’t want the electricity to go up from using a heat lamp

Dig a hole big enough to bury all but the top of the container, this will help it keep most of the heat away (so crickets don't get to hot)

We have no porch, it’s next to the house so it’s n he shade and it’s behind a bush, will they still breed even though it’s cooler?

Should, I'm more worried about them overheating,what are you currently feeding your crickets?

Not very nutritious, I used to use flake food and slivers of carrot
