Can Esox Sp. Tolerate Warm Waters?

I was wondering, after viewing a few youtube videos of pickeral and the like in tropical tanks, if this is just bad fishkeeping or if the Esox species are tolerant of warmer waters.

I also know that Northern Pike are found all over the world, so one would think this includes some warmer bodies of water. Of course that does not mean the US strains would be as tolerant.

Anyone with input on this feel free to chime in.

im pretty sure all can be kept in tropical temps but the northern pike prefers colder. there is a breeder near me that breeds grass pickerel and there fine in trop. temps
