I just purchased a 10 to 12-inch, fat fire eel and I've had a similar-sized tire track for awhile. Currently, I have them in seperate tanks. I've read many a thread on this forum about spiny eels not getting along, after reaching a certain size, especially 2 fires or 2 tires or a fire and a tire. I've also read some threads that state the opposite. There are some people who seem to make it work. What's your experience with the cohabitation of fires and tires? Does it work? I think it possibly could. Thanks in advance.

I have a 27" tt eel and a 13" fire eel that I would like to house together in my 450g. I am going to see how they do together in a 120g first, as it is a major undertaking to remove any fish from the 450g. I will let you know how it goes, I am hoping for the best but expecting failure.
