I think they can both get dropsy.

Definitely!! Are you looking for specifics?

yes, i am putting frogs along with my quarnt. feeders.

what specifically could albino clawed frogs catch from feeder goldfish?

anybody?.....phil?

I'd think, if the water was good, you'd be okay.

On the other hand, if the goldfish were sick, any meds used to treat the goldfish could harm the frogs.

If it were my frogs I'd only keep them with the "food" I was offering them. I'd keep feeders isolated until I were confidant they were healthy.

When buying feeders, I like to see them in their tank before purchase. I don't want a dozen goldfish from a death tank. Dan

no meds just quarnt. for my larger fish...

wondering more about the transmission of parasites, bacteria, or fungus from fish to frog???

Salmonella, Ick, bacterial/ protozoan/ parasitic bloat, columnaris, staphlococcal infections, argulus and other amphipod parasites, nematode parasites. Basically, most of what feeders may bring into a tank may be transmitted to Xenopus frogs.

thanks for coming throu oddball!

guess i will have to make a diff. setup for the froggies!
