I noticed some leaches mixed in when I purchased some live black worms. Do healthy fish eat the leaches? if they do, will the leaches harm the fish from the inside out? or will they merely become food?

They are harmless and common when buying blackworms. My fish eats them. Or they would pick on it to death. They are very chewy but the fish eventually eats them or kills them

It's pretty common to catch and clean a pike and notice that they've recently eaten several leeches. Don't even need to open them. Lots of times you can give 'em a gentle squeeze and out will pop a recently scarfed leech or two.
