I recently started feeding my fish talapia and its working great for all of my fish but my catfish, for the first week he was eating it like crazy but I noticed he was picking up some sand off the bottom as hes a bottom feeder. Now he wont touch it and I have no idea why.
Can fish eat sand?

Sand isn't usually an issue. What doesn't get sifted out through the gills gets passed later on... Though I can't explain why they'd be refusing the tilapia...
