Ummm.. gts were goin nuts preparing there nest and everything and you can see she was getting ready to lay eggs my breeding question is CAN FISH MISCARRY? ive had several brods and this hasnt happened? just wondering thanks
 
I'm not sure, maybe live bearers. I've had a few guppies die on me before birth
 
livebeares miss carry. Cichlid go nuts preparing nest and just when u think thy will lay eggs any minute they dont and the next day they are normal. it happens, it could be as simple as they realized the spot they picked was not good or the tank mates disturbed them. I have a pair that have been preparing the sam hole for weeks now, anytime another fish goes by and moves a bit of sand they start all over again a few inchs more to left or right :)
 
yep they were going nutz now they are getting started in the other part of the tank .... how many brods can a pair produce?
 
years and years of broods. there will be a time when they might go through a drout though.
 
i have tons of fish , frm community to cichlids, central and south american and all over really :)
the ones that are getting ready right now are convicts and kribensis, the others i breed our mouth brooders so no nesting there.
