Can fish predict earthquakes?

Of course we hear many accounts of this happening with land-based creatures, so wouldn't be surprised if fish can too. I wonder if any of our Alaskan fish keepers saw any difference in fish behavior before the last round of quakes there?

I believe it. Birds get quite and land animals move instinctively to higher ground.

I believe some can. On an episode of River Monsters (Jeremy Wade) he visited a place in Japan that did a study on catfish that were in an aquarium in a lab. They found that the catfish were something like 300" or 400% more active crossing the center line of the tank the day before an earthquake every time there was an earthquake.
 
I bet most of them can. My cats and polys react to vibrations my kids make jumping around on the 1st floor. The tank is in the basement
