my tiger oscar got into a lip lock fight with my dempsey, and is now missing a good chunk out of his bottom lip, will he ever grow it back?

i agree with both these statements... if the lower mandible is missing then, it will not grow back. if it's simply missing a chunk of his "lip" then, yes that will grow back most likely.

If we could see the damage it would be easier to make a judgement. It is hard to say though with any serious wound, some grow back, some just skin over and some form weird scar tissue. If the mandible is gone as was mentioned by fishfreak then he will not be able to eat and is done for Im afraid.
