If you have an adult fish that is given a large feeding every 3 days, then wouldn't ammonia levels spike after the feeding? Say you have 4x turnover. Then in your best case scenario, it will take 15 minutes to filter out ammonia. During those 15 minutes(probably longer in a realistic scenario), aren't your fish being exposed to ammonia?
