Can foods containing salt be given for a red eared slider turtle???

I want to know if foods containing salts can be given for a red eared slider turtle, for e.g: dried shrimps(not freeze dried). Please give me some information if you know....

They should not consume much salt. You could probably soak the dried shrimp in water to remove most of the salt.

It would retain alot of the salt inside it. I say no.
