Out of a batch of baby gachuas, do the males or females tend to be more aggressive? Is the males or females bigger in size?

I have a group of four gachuas around 4 inches, they really differ in size and mass. I have the fattest one of the group and he is the most aggressive. I also have skinny ones. They're all fed the same, they just grew different in size and length. Those four babies grew up at the same time and I figure that might be a bit easier to identify m/f by comparing body size, length, aggressiveness.

With cichlids, the bigger babies of the batch are usually male because they grow a bit faster. Can this be the same with channa?

females usually larger around the belly.
you have to look at the shape of the fish to sex.

Look at the shape of the head. I think females have a wider head while males have a narrow head, or it could be the other way around. It should be noticeable too.

Males have more slender body, smaller size heads, and normally more intense coloration. Females usually grow larger in size (and girth), have more wider head, and coloration less intense.

You can noticably see this in these pics. GL!

Hm I cant tell from those pictures. So the females are the bigger bodied ones? I have one that looks really thick, I assume that's a female. And my skinnier ones, safe to assume they're male?

I was under the assumption that males are the ones with the larger heads, reason being that they hold eggs, fry, whatever you wanna call it. Correct me if im wrong.

Nice looking Gachua's

Mine also seemed to hate each other. I got my first one, added the second *albino* later, the first one didn't like the albino at all. Added the third a day later and no one liked him but the albino started picking on the first one. I moved all the terrain around and added more diftwood and took out big rocks, they've since each choosen their hunk of land and protect it. Albino goes and picks on #3 sometimes too for fun.
