Out of a batch of baby gachuas, do the males or females tend to be more aggressive? Is the males or females bigger in size?
I have a group of four gachuas around 4 inches, they really differ in size and mass. I have the fattest one of the group and he is the most aggressive. I also have skinny ones. They're all fed the same, they just grew different in size and length. Those four babies grew up at the same time and I figure that might be a bit easier to identify m/f by comparing body size, length, aggressiveness.
With cichlids, the bigger babies of the batch are usually male because they grow a bit faster. Can this be the same with channa?
