Can GG live with pbass?

I would be buying both at about 2". Will they be able to live in the same tank or will the gourami beat up the pbass?

GG are quite mean ime. It depends on the particular fish too, but there typically more of a bully then fin nippers.

it worked for me until the gg outgrown the bass by like 6" xD then i sold it.... so i dunno wt would happen if it continues

GGs get huge, they are like any other gourami, usually more bite than bark, they usually don't waste time and eat anything small enough to fit in there mouth.

But if you get them at the same size and if they grow at the same rate than they "should get along". Get some dithers like oscars and such
