Can give me some idea for choosing a new arowana...

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
i think its a jardini arowana and they grow 2ft plus so if you have a big enough tank to house the jardini then yah go for it

jars get agressive...if you want a tank to have only one fish in then go for it...i like jars, but i have yet to find a nice one and have lost some nice fish in the search...if you can go with an asian aro...they stay smaller and are like the jar, just for the most part not as agressive...if you have the space i would say go witha silver or black or multi aro combos without jars in the mix...look at the the stick and go from there as to what you want for you aro...

By the way, mix arowana in a 4ft 18inch tank is enough? In other way, put silver arowana, black arowana, yellow tail arowana, red tail arowana and pearl arowana can put together?

minimum tank size for juvi comm tanks IMO is 6'x2'x2' or 180 gallon but be prepared to upgrade in a year, you can keep a single jardini in a 180 for life no problem BUT they are usually pretty violent so you cant keep them with anything. all arowanas get at least 2 feet so a 4' tank it out of the picture

NEVER. A huge NO NO. Tanks to small for so many.

Oh i see, means a 4ft 18 inch is just for a single arowana for life? If 3 arowana also cannot put them together if i really do then i need to order a new tank size 6x2x2?
