Can Haplochrmois and Pundamilia hybridize?

I currently have 3 Haplochromis Sp44 (thick skin), one male and two female, and was thinking about getting a male and two females of the Pundamilia nyererei. I was wondering has any one over heard of them inter-mating or hybridizing? They are both real nice fish, and I want to have somewhat of a breeding victorian tank... but do not want them to hybridize.

Hybridize, crossbreed, and interbreed are all the correct usage for what you are talking about.

To answer your question, yes they will hybridize.
