CAn I add a 4" JD with my 8" oscars?

so In my 125g I have two oscars and want to move my jd over from grow out but in not sure if he would be eaten he is 4" long and 1.5 tall the oscars are 8" with a mouth width of 1" un opened I really would not like to lose this guy as he is a stunner and very personable this is him his name is orion

Its a bit of a risk imo, but if you really want to id do a small gap divider and keep an eye out

ok I will hold off Its just that he is in a divided 75g with my 2 delhezi bichirs and would like to give my bichirs the whole tank as soon as possible but it is fine for now so maybe 6"?

Yea, try to close the size gap as much as possible, what else is in the o tank?

T Tsn thanks! I dont know if I will be able to put him in because beleive it or not the Os just paired up but they dont mess with the pleco or pictus cats in their tank only if they come near their corner they claimed so Im not sure

I am sure it would be fine if the JD has a spot to get away if he needs to. But if they are paired up I wouldn't bother adding any other cichlids.
