can i add more fish?????

yea my two firemouths died and i need more fish to add to my 55 gallon.

current stocking list,

2 cons unsure of sex,
a pictus catfish
4 cherry barbs(like tiger barbs)

yea i think i want more barbs of that size, do u think that i will have enough room for 2 more barbs possibly a tiger and a rosy barb. WIll these school with cherry barbs or do i have to get more cherries?

is there any other cichlids i can get?
If u guys have any suggestions or a stocking list u would stock a 55 gallon u had plz reply.

you could add a more than 2 barbs to the tank I would say like 4 more...I've seen mixed barbs shoal together... some geos might be nice too add to the tank too you can stock heavy as long as filtration is top notch and regular water changes are done

u could get away with more cats for chiclids u could try parrots their great with barbs because they have very small mouths

acuras, keyhole, rams, or rainbow cichlids just some suggestions, i would go with a pair of rainbow cichlids, max size 6'', great colors, not overly aggressive

oh i think ima get one more pictus catfish and these shrimp that clean the tank .

for cichlids i might get hmm (man! geos are not popular around here!)

probably a parrot and 2 more firemouths, and maybe even a jewel

i was gettin not the ghost shrimp but a green kinda big shrimp, i dont nkow if sayin color helps but yea anybody know what im talkin bout?

mabye marbled or flower shrimp and when thay molt make sure thay have a hiding spot my jack dempsy loves craw dads and even when there al lmost as big as him thay don't stand a chance when soft
but i would stay away from jewel cichlids im pretty sure there african and are pretty mean also pictus cats work best in groups of three or more so id say two pictus cats and firemouths would be fine and mabye even one more fish
