So I am consolidating my tanks down because my parents say I have too!

I have a 75 gallon filtered by a 75 gallon sump!

Stocklist:
(1) Giant Gourami - probably 12in
(2) Festivum - 5 in and 4 in
(1) Senegal Bichir - 6 in
(7) Tinfoil Barbs - 3 @ 6 in. 4 @ 2.5 in.
(3) Silver Dollars - 4 in.

Weekly water changes, Driftwood as deco, and White sand as substrate.

The oscar is 4 in at most.

I figure i have enough filtration to cover the additional bio load. Just worried about agression issues, right now i have no aggression issues. The gourami rules the tank and he only chases the barbs and they are to fast for him to catch. He doesn't bother anyone else?

Would i be asking for trouble if i added the oscar?

i dont mind a little over stock but it sounds like u got plenty already, i like tinfoils but they get huge..... how fast did your silver dollers grow? are they real skittish? id like to get maybe 3

I know its pretty stocked up already, but the Gourami will getting a new home in the future. My Silver Dollars grew pretty slow to be honest, they eat like horses though. They were skittish when i first got them because i only had three, but now the school with the tinfoils and are not skittish in the least bit

+1....I agree with biguebs, consolidate them all into one big tank!!

I have to consolidate tanks lol don't think my parents would like if i came home with another 125. I would be growing out the oscar until he can handle himself in my 125. He is too small to go in there now.

PS ... not worried about your filtration. worried about aggression and the chance of the amount of nitrates skyrocketing before you get to a water change.

The problem I see is the GG attacking the oscar, oscars are pushovers and it won;t take long for the GG to attack and torment the O to death. JMO.

Also your tinfoils are TOO MUCH for a 75 they'll outgrow that tank in a couple months if they aren't stunted already IMO.
