can I breed any of these fish?

Mosquito Fish breed like Guppies...but eat less of their fry.

They can survive temps from 34 - 115 F....extremely hardy fish...

I'll send you some for free, just pay the shipping, USPS priority is like $12 or something like that. I'll throw in a few fat females to get you started. I doubt you can find them wild in your area but maybe some of the LFS might be able to order them for you.

I have them in a small pond outside my front door and I do "nothing" not even throw food in the pond. I assume they survive off mosquito larvae and algae in the pond. They multiply like rabbits and I give them to my neighbor to feed his cichlids. Mature females get to about 2.5" and I can tell you they will kill guppies if put together (bad experiment on my part). I also have some Florida fish that is wild and also eats mosquito larvae, not sure waht it is but they look like small light colored mollies with thin lines on the sides. They all came from a local lake where they are used for mosquito control.

Both species will eat just about any food you offer from flakes to frozen.

If the farm is then why can't you? Any organism will breed If conditions are properly met. sense I'm assuming you meen could you breed them in the home aquarium, could you elaborate on the conditions they will be subjected to?
