Can I breed convicts in a planted tank?

Will the cons destroy my plants? Can I breed to pairs of cons in a 20Gallon tank?

my cons are in a planted tank, but if you have expensive ones, I wouldnt recommend it. Theyll even attack leaves that obstruct their brooding sites (plus the dart around nervously guarding the fry and might uproot every thing

oh and Id recommend at least 30 gallon. or a 20L with really good filtration

Ya, a 20 gallon is a bit to small to breed cons due to aggression. I have mine in a 75 gallon and they are always breeding. Be prepared for tons of babies.
