i have a 37 gallon tank with a divider in the middle with my flowerhorn parrot (or whatever the true name is for them) and a polypterus on one side and a pair of convicts on the other side. my cons just hatched eggs today as i was looking i noticed a nest that was dug up with my fh/bp sitting in it. is it possable to breed her and what would i have to breed her with a bp or anouther fh/bp???

thanx in advance...

no body??? hopefully someone can help me im gettin excited thinking about being able to breed her. im assuming that she is a femaledue to the huge nest she dug and the (not sure what the real name is) tube like thing at her backside witch my female con had right befor she laid her eggs. i think it would b badass if i was able to breed her

Midas,Red Devil,Synspilus,Carpintis,Bifa,Gutt just about all the CA can breed with her.But you have a over stocked tank how.To breed you need 75gl or bigger just for the pair not to mention once the fry are hatched you will need 125gl tank to grow them out. These are big fish and need and deserve their space

i know i need a bigger tank to breed her to small right now to breed anyways (i think) as she is only about 3 inches the biggest in my tank ins the polypterus at 4 inches in the works for a bigger tank now. thanx for the help i will try and get pix of her tomorrow
