I can't seem to find much information on whether feeding blackworms to my Cichila is okay or not. They are eating Rosy Reds like there is no tomorrow, but I recently read that RR's are full of fat and are not too good to be a staple food (not to mention the risk of disease).

I am sorry if this is a stupid question, but I just want to be safe. I have recently had surgery and not able to make the venture to the LFS once or twice a week to get minnows, and was hoping to just order some blackworms online.

Any advice is appreciated. Thanks!

i feed my smaller ones a mix of blood worms and feeder guppies, i also have fed them live black worms before and never had a problem with them.

Thanks for the reply. I am thinking that I will go ahead and order some online since none of the pet stores in my area sell them.

as long as its from a clean source, I don't see any problems with it. I just avoid them because of the risk of parasites and diseases.

Yes you can.
