Yes if you quarantine them. I remember someone cutting the dorsal fins off the bluegill/crappie before they fed it to their fish.

I wouldn't straight feed. Kill them, freeze them for a month, then slow thaw and prep it.

Easier to get it from the store imo.

QT them, give them about maybe a week or so to clean there system before feeding them to your other fishes. i use to throw them in right after i catch them and nothing seemed wrong, but i would QT them first for safty
