Can I feed my Peacock Bass Trout?

Local ponds are stocked with trout every Friday in the area where I live. if I catch a few and cut them into little cubes can I feed those to my bass? He is still relatively small but I can cut the trout into a size he can mouth.

I suggest freezing it first to try to kill anything parasitic on or in it.

BTW you can still cut the Trout into pieces before freezing.
