I want to experiment. Ive heard beef heart is good but i cant drive put to the store all the time to get it. Can adding fatty foods to the fishes diet result in a fattier KOK? If so will Bacon work? I will chop it up into bite size pieces and feed like 3 or 4 bites of it to him.

Lol u can feed it to me! Haha I heard mammalian fat isn't good for fish cause they are cold blooded and can't absorb the fat as well. But you never know unless you try? I wouldn't do it though haha

Fattier foods does not equal bigger kok. If it did, foods like Grand Sumo and Chingmix will make all FH's kok's explode in growth. The size of the kok is based greatly on genetics. Bacon is also pumped with lots of salt, preservatives and other things I'm sure that your fish doesn't need. Just stick to a high quality pellet like NLS and you should be fine.

Haha alrite yah there is definitely lots of bad crap in bacon and i wasnt guna do it i was just wondering what you all would think about it haha. I know genetics are what decide KOK size. Im already feeding him grand sumo red, alife red, alife regular, and bio gold.

your fish would probably go into cardiac arrest instantly.....but seriously bacon is to greasy and bacon has smoke flavoring, and all types of seasonings and preservatives in it that can't be good for fish.

Feel free to tell your friend that he's an idiot, on my behalf.
