Anything can be fixed. Probably should replace the glass with a new piece.

Although i have no experience fixing cracks, that looks like way beyond normal repair and would require a replacement piece...

Anyone ever taken a tank to a glass repair shop? I'm curious if- a) they'd make the repair, and b) if it's cheap enough to be worthwhile.

Maybe call a local glazier and see if they have done any aquariums and ask for a quote. I think that would be the best bet.
