I don't think idenifying wood is really up anyone's alley. What's the need for an ID on it? Too me it doesn't look like it really has any distinguishing features. Mopani, goldvine etc are pretty easy to ID...although yours is a nice piece I wouldn't hold your breath any longer for an ID.
