I am going to pick one up this weekend at 11" and tried to do a search on the forum, only thing is there is so lill info and I could not find nothing but pics and comments about him. I know they get big (thats a good thing:D)
and just wanted a little more info, like behavior, diet, life span, things like that...

Simply put its a regional variation of P.e.endlicheri otherwise treat it as you would any other endi.The care for any bichir is the same the only difference is the size of the tank-Anne

Ive read a few threads that have monster Bichirs and some say ten yrs to get that big. Does it really take that long to get a Endli to max size (or close to it)?
 
Well in captivity endli usually reach 24", and it definitely doesn't take 10yrs for that size.

I know, thats what I do and dont like. Yes cause he wont spook my Goliath and no cause its B O R I N G ! ! ! ! (but looks very cool:D)

yeah that sounds about right, always depends on the fish though. some will be in turbo growth mode, others drag on bro
