Can i grow dwarf hairgrass

Hi, i have a 29 gallon tank with 48watts of t5 ho bulbs, one is 6700k and one is 10000 k. I have injected co2 and eco complete substrate, the substrate is what worries me

I'm growing it in a 65g, with no proper plant substrate (just gravel), 48" duel T5HO's, and a liquid carbon substitute, and mine grows just fine. Looks like your in better shape then I am, so you should be just fine growing it.

100% hair grass would do great and remember the more you trim It the more runners it sends out

Trim the leaves down, and when it grows back it'll send runners out.

Yeah the leaves I've never tried trimming the roots of any plant but I have heard it sparks better root development
