I am getting two mangrove trees along with some brackish fish. The tank the brackish fish are going into does not have the appropriate light for these trees. Would I be able to put them in a freshwater tank, and they still grow? I have liquid concrete for tap water, if this helps make any difference.

I've read online that they can be, but I want to hear from someone with experience with these plants.

Thanks in advance!

HAA "liquid concrete for tap water" Priceless!

But on the subject of your thread, I have only read that its possible and have no experience.

In my research it depends on the type of mangrove. Most will tolerate, not necessarily grow, in FW but different spp have different salinity preferences.
