I have problems. My black aro and dat are the same size. But of course the dat has more mass so inject picks on him. Ima divide them until my black is bigger by several inches

Datnoids have that long powerful extending mouth snap that could suck a Aros eyeball out like it was a massivore pellet. Aro should be bigger and the more dominant fish in the tank. Just to be safe.

Have to depend on whether you have comm aro with other fishes before. If he is always alone, they will fight.

Most of the big ST that come up for sale are because of conflict with a Asian aro

If you grow them both from small then it should be fine the aro will grow faster but if you keep the aro well fed and no feeders it should be fine

Also no hiding places or when a large aro see a little tiger pop his head out every now and then it will see it as food

If you add a large tiger that has never seen a aro before even in with a large aro you may get problems with the tiger attack the aro

ALL mixed.com tanks have fights it's knowing when to step in that's the key

It is better to have a larger aro than the dat to start with. Dat tends to be more aggressive than aros.
