I have my rays in a 6'x4'x2' pond. The water volume only go up to half of the pond. I have 1 F 17-18" Marble/Motoro, 1 F Marble 11-12", 1 M motoro 12-13". I am planning to add 1 F motoro 12" and 1 M marble 12-13". Because the M motoro is aggressive toward the females. I am concern if he will be aggressive toward the new M marble. Will the two M fight for mate and territory? please advise.
Thanks

aggression amongst male rays is a problem when there are females around. it would work better if you keep not more than 2 males in this setup. I'd go for just one though with 4+ females.

can you do it.... yes, just keep an eye on them. If it gets to rough... then remove one of them.

6x4x1 foot deep of water is not a very large space for that many rays, you are more likely to find aggression in a small place than a large foot print...I do not think I would be adding any more. The motors females have a lot of growing left to do too.

What is the recommended water volume per adult ray?
and what is the rec. ratio for breeding ray in term of M/F?
Which way is better for the ray, tank or pond?
