I am not familar with the Banded Bichir so I need some advice. Can I keep this birchir in a 55g with 1 oscar- 6 inches, 1 blood parrot- 4 inch, 2 pictus cats- 3 inch and 1 red tail shark- 4 inches?

Filtration - fx5 and ac110.

Banded=Delhezi?
It might work depending on the temperment of your Oscar and BP. They might be too aggro for a bichir. Aside from that I would want a wider tank like a 75g for a bichir anyway.

Yeah I would personally say a delhezi could live in a 55. Id make sure he has some dugouts to hide in. I would be wary of fin nipping from the oscar and blood parrot. I might even cut back some stock from the tank bottom IE the pictus cats. But if you get a young one he should be fine given you will have to upgrade due to the oscar anyways.

Hope this helps. BTW some grow slowly mine has grown an inch in 6 months :/ on a heavy diet too....

I think that the oscar might out compete your bichir for food. My bichirs are slow eaters, they like to let pellets sit around for a while (and stink up the place); during this time your oscar might be gobblin' them down.
