Im a piranha keeper and am looking at trying out rays. I want to know if a single ray could be kept in a standard 75 for a yr or so? Im just going to try it out before i go to college and see how it was. I was thinking maybe i could find a small one about the time college rolled around i could rehome him/her. Any advice? If you all say this is a bad idea im fine and i can continue piranha keeping. Thanks for your help. Also my fliltration is an emperror 400 and an eheim 2217 cannister

Im a junior and the tank would have to come down senior summer, like before college. If it cant be done im fine with it, i just really wanted to try it out. I had thought i heard if you could find a small one it would outgrow a 75 in a yr or a little longer? thanks for the replys

you could try 1 retic ray, they grow slow just get a baby around 4"

wait until your done with school and can get a 300+ gallon tank. you will enjoy it more when you have your own house! and you won't possibly be harming a ray...

75G is to small for a ray. Period.

If i did do a ray i would do a solo ray in my 75gal. what is the growth rate of rectic rays? im only having it for a year. Also, What makes you guys love rays so much? I thought i heard you can pet them? wth? cant they like sting u? man they look so sweet and i really want to try one! a solo small one.
