Can I have a ray?

In a 100 gallon tank? I have a sand bottom with a few flat rocks, a peice of driftwood, and an amazon sword pant. Is there any ray species that will live in my tank for a long time, maaybe even life? I have in it a severum, geophagus, lima shovelnose cat, pictus cats x3, and a senegal bichir.

u can try a scobina, reticulated or histrix.

100g ray isn't big enough for any ray for life, but you could start with a retic and get a larger tank or trade it in when it got too big. But geo's like to dig so this could be a problem with a ray.

Not recomended, at least 180 gallon ( 24" width ).

I think i will pass, unless i can convince my uncle to take it in his 180 when it gets bigger. how fast do they grow?

depends on water temp and food types and how much and how often you feed them ! they can grow very fast if all the above !
